A deliberate choice

Where your systems run should be a deliberate choice you made for your own reasons, not a default you inherited from whoever set things up years ago. This page is the information you need to make that choice about us.

The straight answers

The facility
Our core co-location facility is at the Brisbane Technology Park in Eight Mile Plains, on Brisbane's southside, a Tier 2 data centre. We also use several other Australian data centres when a job calls for it.
The hardware
We own and manage all of our hardware and co-locate it within world-class, professional data centres in Australia who provide stable network and environment services to our racks. If something happens to our hosting hardware, we fix it ourselves immediately.
The people
Our team is in Brisbane. Our staff are police-checked and work under documented security and privacy mandates. Our client emergency support team is available 24/7/365, on a dedicated support number provided to every client.
Uptime
A 99.99% uptime SLA, in writing, on virtual machines, dedicated servers and co-location. Shared cPanel hosting is not covered by an SLA, and we say so rather than blur the line.
Monitoring
Constant monitoring of both your services and our own infrastructure: server performance, network and facilities, around the clock.
Backups
Backups run on a schedule agreed with you in writing, with the retention period and the restore process set out alongside it.
Moving in, and moving out
Moving shouldn't mean going dark. Many providers take a service offline for hours or days to move it; with proper preparation we usually manage the switch itself in seconds. We estimate a migration up front, a ballpark at minimum and usually better, and bill the work at our published support rates. That applies whether you are moving to us or, one day, away from us.
The company
Creative Intersection is, and always has been, wholly Australian owned, and all of our products and services come from Australia. We don't offshore work. Ever. We are a Local Buy pre-qualified supplier (LB308) for Virtual / Cloud (General).
When Australia isn't the answer
Where a global footprint genuinely serves you better, we also deliver and manage hosting on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. We'll tell you when that is the right call.
