What we host
Australian Cloud Servers is the hosting arm of Creative Intersection. Since 2001 we have hosted business and government systems from our own racks at the Brisbane Technology Park in Eight Mile Plains, and from other Australian data centres when a job calls for it.
We're not a self-service cloud, and we don't pretend to be. We own and manage our hardware, we answer the phone, and if something happens to that hardware we fix it ourselves.
Plenty of providers take a site or service offline for hours, sometimes days, to move it. That is a coordination problem, not a law of physics. With the preparation and experience that come from doing this since 2001, we usually manage the switch itself in seconds. You should not need to plan for significant downtime to move to us.
Businesses, government, not-for-profits and startups have run on it since 2001: marketing sites and online stores, application data services, secure data management for government, backup and failover for corporate systems, and specialist services that supplement in-house IT teams.
In tech, as in life, you get what you pay for. Our rates are not the cheapest on the shelf, and we'd rather say so than hide it. What they buy is hardware we own rather than resell, a Brisbane address you can name, people who know your system, monitoring of both your services and the infrastructure under them, and a team that has been doing this since 2001.
